Why Choose Us?

Canterbury Creek Farm School offers a unique preschool experience for children ages 3–6, blending hands-on learning with the wonders of our 11-acre farm in Ada, MI. Common adventures include caring for animals, exploring nature trails, and enjoying horse rides, alongside indoor activities like art, music, and storytelling. Our multi-age classes foster creativity, confidence, and foundational skills in a stress-free setting, ensuring a positive first school experience. We believe preschool should be a time of joy, building a lifelong love for learning without the pressures of traditional academics. With a nurturing staff and a curriculum tailored to spark curiosity, we prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond. Schedule a tour to see our farm preschool in action!

Preschool Programs

Our traditional preschool programs run 2, 3 or 5 days a week. Each session is 3 hours long, and either morning of afternoon. This program is typically for 3, 4 and 5 year olds with a goal of preparing them for Kindergarten. We also offer a young fives program which runs 5 days a week in 3 hour sessions. This program is for children who will be 5 or turn 5 by March 1st.

Summer Camps

Summer at Farm School is a blast! We offer several one‑week camp sessions packed with farm fun, where we spend nearly the entire time outside interacting with animals and exploring our beautiful property. Similar to our school program, each camp runs three hours a day, with both morning and afternoon sessions available. We also offer a special Kindergarten Prep Camp, designed to help soon‑to‑be kindergarteners get comfortable with many aspects of the longer school day that might be new to them.
