🌾 Preparing for a New School Year at Ada Farm School
2025-2026 Staff Farm School Staff
🌞 Summer’s End Brings New Beginnings
As summer fades and the air grows crisp, Ada Farm School is filled with anticipation for a brand-new school year! After another incredible season of farm summer camps, the farm is now transforming once again — ready to welcome new and returning preschool students to a year of hands-on learning, outdoor play, and joyful discovery.
Our summer was one to remember, with hundreds of happy campers exploring nature, caring for animals, and making new friends. As the sun sets on summer, our teachers, staff, and Mr. Turchetti are hard at work preparing the farm for the exciting school year ahead.
🧑🏫 Teachers Return for Team Building and Training
Before the first students step onto the farm, the Ada Farm School teachers spend a week dedicated to team building, continuing education and planning every aspect of the school year.
This annual week gives our teachers the chance to reconnect, plan lessons, and learn from specialists who visit to share best practices and research in early childhood education.
Our educators are deeply committed to ongoing growth and lifelong learning. Throughout the school year, they participate in continuing education workshops to stay current on the latest techniques in preschool education — ensuring each child receives the best possible learning experience in a nurturing, farm-based setting.
“We always want our teachers to feel supported and inspired,” said Mrs. Turchetti, Director of Ada Farm School. “When our teachers grow, our students thrive.”
🐴 Mr. Turchetti Prepares the Farm and Animals for Fall
While the classrooms are being refreshed and supplies restocked, Mr. Turchetti has been busy getting the farm ready for the new season — and most importantly, making sure our animals are set for a cozy and well-fed winter.
This time of year means loading and stacking round bales and square bales of hay, which will keep the animals nourished and happy through the cold months ahead. The hay provides essential nutrition for our ponies, goats, and other barnyard friends all winter long.

In addition to gathering hay, Mr. Turchetti and the farm team have been tidying the property, repairing fences, mowing, and making sure every part of the farm looks beautiful and welcoming.
The result? A peaceful, well-prepared farm that’s ready to greet children with the same charm and warmth Ada Farm School is known for.
🌻 Welcoming Our Students After Labor Day
After Labor Day, our farm will once again be filled with the joyful sounds of laughter, discovery, and animal greetings as children return for another school year.
At Ada Farm School, children:
Learn through hands-on experiences with animals and nature
Develop social skills and empathy through cooperative play
Build confidence by caring for animals and exploring the outdoors
Our farm-based preschool model allows children to connect with nature every single day — something we believe builds a lifelong love of learning and respect for the natural world.
“It’s always amazing to watch new students meet the animals for the first time,” said Mrs. Turchetti. “You can see their eyes light up with wonder and curiosity — it’s what farm school is all about.”
💚 Gratitude for Our Families and Community
As we begin the 2025 school year, we’re filled with gratitude for our families, staff, and community who make Ada Farm School such a special place. Each teacher, student, and parent plays a vital role in keeping our farm preschool thriving.
Together, we’re nurturing a generation of children who are confident, compassionate, and connected to the world around them. We can’t wait to see all that this year will bring!
